Babies are significantly more time demanding than puppies.. i wouldn't be offended by that. Your mom would just rather spend more time taking care of you than writing about you in a book.. so what?
That was one of the most pointless FMLs I've read so far... sure you would like to be thought about more deeply than the dog, but they're just names... maybe she already had a name picked out for you and she was still deciding for the dog... dog's apparently have a much larger variety of potential names... I don't suppose you would have wanted to be named "Mr. Gipsy" or "Blacky"...
What the ****? So? Dogs are alot easier to photograph than a baby... you probably spent a lot of time when you were young looking away from the camera or screwing up your face, otherwise you'd probably have more baby photos. Don't sweat it, I probably would only be able to find about a dozen photos of me when I was less than the age of five.
Please, I have three baby books that are empty because the choices are (1) Interact with the baby (2) feed and play with the baby (3) accidently kill/maim the baby while working on the baby book. Puppies are easy, kids - not so much!
Ha! My mother hhas my brother's baby book filled to the belly and mine, not so much! Barely anything in there! Anyone here notice the OP is probably not a baby anymore?
Maybe she was too busy looking after you to fill in a book about it?

Your FML seems to be that she loved the dog more, but in reality, she spent more of her time after you were born interacting with you, instead of filling out a stupid scrapbook.
Just because she filled out the dogs book more then yours doesn't mean all that much. At least your mother took the time, and you should realize there's more to life then a couple dozen photographs. Also, babies aren't the same as dogs, meaning that babies are more demanding and (should) require more time and effort then a pet. I don't think this is really an FML.
