That's illegal. It's called wrongful termination. Not really a sue happy person but you could at least sue for your job back.

Not really, not if she can't prove through eyewitnesses (earwitnesses?) or paperwork that he fired her for that reason. Most employment contracts these days state that the employment may be terminated at any time by either party with or without cause. This is to cover their asses. :)
