Bye!

Today, I was fired from my job. The reason? My boss didn't feel comfortable paying his son's girlfriend. FML

Depending on the context, it might be a good thing he doesn't feel comfortable paying his sons gf...

you can prob actually make a complaint for that. he doesn't have any work related reason and he can't fire you for personal issues

You should've thought of that before deciding to **** the boss's son. I'm not saying you're dating the bloke because he's your boss's son. But that sort of thing puts everyone involved in an awkward position, especially your boss. I think this solution was for the best. So, neither FYL or YDI.

You're an idiot...

Well, that is an uncomfortable situation. but he should have at least made sure you got a good recommendation letter.

Yeah, thats not going to be awkward. Say he invites her to dinner. - So, hows it going mr. Johnson? -Terrible. -whys that? -im bankrupt because you sued me! -…oh

-how's life going? -well I'm struggling and broke because you ******* fired me?

Sounds like a cover up for the real reason he wanted to fire you. Probably didn't want to tell his son's girlfriend she was screwing up

Well you could probably sue him because if you are doing your job OK he has no reason to fire you. On personal matters you or rather he should settel the matter outside of work and not involving your job. p.s. I don't know what is your job and I don't know how you met your bosses son so my opinion could change depending on that but anyway speak again with your boss because really that's not a good reason to fire you.

Probably the only reason you were hired so you really didn't lose anything. And you probably didn't do a very good job so that's the excuse he's going to use to get rid of you.
