Today, I was fired from a managerial position I've held for two years due to "inappropriate relations with a subordinate": I was dating a coworker. My girlfriend then broke up with me four hours later. Because I no longer had a job. I hired her. FML

As far as I agree that dating people you work with is not the best idea, what you do outside of work is none of their buisness. To fire someone for that is legal in USA? WTF?! way to go freedom! Is that out of the Patriot Act or something? You know, the bill that made your whole contry go back to the Middle Ages, with witch-hunting, institutionalized torture and arbitrary jail without contact to anybody.

Dude everyone was dating everyone where I used to work. All they did was transfer the people they could(my boyfriend, my friend's husband and another co-worker's girlfriend got transferred to different stores). Hell even the district manager was banging some of the shift managers. Lol
