Today, I was called up about a job I'd recently applied for. I was overly excited to tell them I'd be there on Monday. Then I remembered I canceled my car insurance due to financial difficulties. I have no way of getting there. FML

Today, I was told a job offer that would've changed my life had been taken back, due to one part in the onboarding process. I’ve already sold my car, ended the lease to my apartment, and purchased a non refundable plane ticket. With little to no money and the Christmas break coming soon, I feel like I’m going to die with no backup plan. FML

So you still have a car, right? Just don't get hit or pulled over.

Good job, op. :) Hopefully everything will work out.

Well, they're called accidents for a reason...

This is a complete waste of an FML and you are a waste of a spot in the human gene pool. Those that cannot find a job - that's an FML.

shit just drive there. unless you fail at driving as much as you fail at writing FMLs you will be fine.

if you really want the job, you will find a way there. you can get a ride from a neighbor or something.

I can think of at least 5 different ways to get there. Your life is not ******; you deserve nothing. Get your ass to work.

Here's a game I used to play during downtime with my buds in school. First person says a word. In this case it was "taxi". Next person adds a word. Then the person after that adds a word. And so on. The point is to try to make the most interesting story possible (can be funny, suspenseful, actiony, whatever). I'll start. Crashed.

Ugh bleh urgh. Monkeys. See? This is what happens when I can't be nice. Bad waffle. Bad.

So what you're saying is that you can't afford car insurance so you can't drive? And you fail to realize that when you get your first paycheck you'll pay that bill? And you can ride the bus till your paycheck? Or take a taxi? Or pay a neighbor? Or get a ride from a friend? Or bike? Or if not too far... walk? Stop eating house paint, OP.
