Today, I was at lunch with my girlfriend. The waitress came up and asked for her number, then asked if she had a significant other. I laughed as my girlfriend gave the waitress her number. They're going on a date, tonight. FML

The OP is bringing it on himself for sticking for that sort of thing. What if the roles were reversed, and the waitress asked him for his number (incidentally, this happened to me when I was out with my wife once)? The answer is simple; if he gave her his number, she would be going atomic on his ass, and quite rightly so. Dump her. If she's considering hooking up other people so easily, regardless of their gender, you're better off out of it.
