Today, I was a TA for a history class and the class was taking a test. About halfway through, I noticed one kid had a small piece of paper in his hand. I ran up the row, grabbed his test, and ripped it into four pieces. Then I took the note from him. It said "I believe in you, -Mom." FML

Today, I found out why my history grade is so low: the kid in front of me takes my homework, writes his name on it, and passes it off as his own. FML

Today, I cheated on a math test by writing a couple of equations on my hand. Totally satisfied, I handed my test in, feeling like I had aced it. As I was heading toward the door, I happily waved goodbye to my teacher. She saw everything. FML
Today, I was passing notes in class with my crush. I started to pour my heart out and tell him about how I've liked him for years. I was caught by the teacher. He looked at it, laughed, and tore it up. He then looked at me and said, "I just saved you from years of embarrassment. You're welcome." FML
Today, we had a surprise test at school. I was totally unprepared for any of it, so I BSd the whole thing and turned it in. A few minutes later, our teacher said we were allowed to use our notes to finish the test. FML
Today, I was in my psychology class taking the hardest test ever. After I spent most of the period trying to fill in the few answers that I knew, I looked up to see everyone with their notebooks on their desks. It was an open-note test. FML
Today, I passed my math test with flying colors. My dad thought I had cheated, so he emailed the school and told them that I had. They lowered my grade. FML
Today, I went into my classroom to find a bag of shit on my desk with a note saying, "Thanks for failing me b*tch!" FML
Today, I collected my students' notes in class to check them. One girl, who is always drawing weird anime crap in her sketchbook, turned in just one piece of paper that read, "FUCK YOUR CLASS." FML

Awh... yaastis that was really sad hey... I am not sure what a TA is, but it sounds like what we call "relief teachers" here in Sunny South Africa... You should have rather looked at the note first before tearing up th exam paper, and some student whether from College or High School get nervous, he could have been stressing the night before, he's mum could have noted and then wrote a note, a note he could have most probably found only when he was in the examination room, I used to always find papers in my pockets during an exam, so ummm... you were rash.. he should have been smart and obviously discarded the paper, but who knows he could have been caught up in the fact that he's mum left a note. I think you should have let him complete the exam, then took he's note and attached to the paper at the end of the examintion, handed it over to the actual "Teacher" or "Lecturer" and then let him launch he's own investigation into the matter if need be..

#31 the problem with America man, schools are for creativity and learning. They are for preparing the next generation of pimps and ****** lol. Anyways, I am on the fence about this a little really. I think it was a bad move, but what a note says isn't always relevant to the information that it contains. I doubt a note that short could have any value, however, if I was ever going to cheat on an exam I would probably use an encrypted sheet.

personally, i don't think you should be a TA. it seems like you were flaunting your authority and dominance over some innocent kid, and i hope you get punished. Even if the person was cheating, there is a more mature, fair way to handle this, and i don't think acting like you are still in high school is the proper way of solving this problem.
