Today, I talked to my ex on AIM after not speaking to her since we broke up two years ago. The conversation lead up to her asking how I feel about her. So I poured my heart and soul out to her, because I still love her. She immediately logged off. FML

Today, I had a rare phone call from my ex-girlfriend. We ended up talking for hours about old times. It was the best conversation we have had in forever, it made me miss her and miss us. Later on in the day, she called back asking what we talked about. She was too high too remember. FML

Today, I found out my ex had been writing about our relationship to Postsecret. Apparently, she'd been sorry and wanted me back if I still loved her. I have absolutely no idea what she's talking about. I left after 8 months of unreturned texts, calls, emails, and meet-ups. FML

Today, my girlfriend was feeling a little down, so I tried to console her. She said she just needed space and I respected that. Then an hour later she was fine, so I asked how she did it. She replied that she talked to her ex for a whole hour. This is a common procedure. FML

Today, I spoke to my ex again for the first time after our breakup. The first words out of his mouth were, "I love you, so I'm going to have to confess some things in the hopes that my honesty will help us get back together." It didn't, but it does mean I have to get tested now. FML

Some couples break up and plan to remain friends, probably because they were friends to begin with. But a lot of times that doesn't work, like in this situation. OP, it's been two years. I understand how you feel, believe me, but you have to move on. You can't live in the past.

she logged off because she had no idea what to say. Do you know how awkward she must have felt? Her ex boyfriend from 2 years ago just admitted his extreme feelings for her. She could be going through a tough time or maybe a new relationship or something and she just didnt want to deal with another situation. You could have just said you still liked her a lot and left it at that. Sorry for your loss buddy, youll find someone else one day :)
