Honestly, she sounds like some kind of attention/sympathy *****. She is probably just writing that so that people can feel sorry for her. Did she also write about how she ignored you so that her 'loyal' followers can get the full picture? Heck, she may even have been getting off on seeing you pursue her desperately. If she does not come back to you with a really good explanation of her behaviour as well as an action plan for change, I would say good riddance and keep it that way.
You should send a postcard about it to Postsecret.
My best friend and roommate in college lost a girl he really liked because he got too anxious and embarrassed to call her/text her. He was really shy. He regretted it and felt bad and a bit like a jerk but knew it was his fault. Don’t know her, but if she’s shy and/or has social anxiety maybe she felt too overwhelmed to respond, and posting online anonymously she may feel more open. Either way not your fault. My friend eventually found a girl willing to take more of the initiative and is happily married with 2 kids.
