Today, I spent hours delicately writing out what seemed to be a beautiful poem to my girlfriend. After I sent it to her, I kept eyeing my phone to see her surprised message. No, the only response I got was, "You may want to use a spellcheck." FML

Seriously, you sent a poem with misspellings? That's like an insult. "Here, I wrote you a poem, but I didn't care enough to bother proof-reading."

it's okay! don't give up hope but your gf does seem quite ungrateful. consider being with someone who appreciates you.

I voted YDI just because if it was so bad it needed a spell check then your command of the language probably isn't sufficient for you to be writing poetry anyway.

The girlfriend is ungrateful for what pathetic little effort the male did make. The boyfriend is ungrateful for the extremely valuable (priceless) advice his girlfriend gave him. They deserve each other, the ungrateful fools.

YDI, even if your thoughts are beautifull, the spell is totally broken if you cannot write correctly

It's the thought that counts, right?

Then LEARN TO SPELL, you twit. Though she could've at least thanked you, since you went to the trouble to think of a poem in the first place.

1. Your g/f is a ****. Why are you with her? 2. Look at all the grammarian losers! They just pop up in the comments of every entry on this site. You are all a bunch of insecure twats who have to pick apart grammar and spelling because it's the only way you can feel smart. It's not the world's fault that you fail every other subject. *sigh*

Anyone CAN write a poem. Not everyone can write a good one, though.

As she said, you might want to use a spellcheck.
