Today, I skipped school and stayed home without telling my parents. My mom came home on her lunch break with another man, and had sex in our living room. I'm stuck in my room, listening to my mom cheat on my dad. FML

Any other time I would say how bad it is to skip school but im sorry you heard that. Tell your dad he deserves to know. Which is better you not getting in trouble for skipping school or your dad knowing the truth about your mom.

if you have good grades how is skipping school bad? I maintain a 96 overall and I cut 1-2 times a week

So many things wrong with this: 1) Where would the OP go if he were to skip? If he went out to a public place, he could get reported for truancy by someone. 2) The point of the FML does not even relate to the bad effects of skipping, so "Stay in school" is basically meaningless. 3) Learn not to capitalize every word of the sentence.
