Today, I got a card from the jewelry store thanking me for purchasing an engagement ring a year ago and wishing me and my fiancée a long and everlasting marriage. Too bad my fiancée took off with the pizza delivery boy 6 months ago. FML
Today, I was at my boyfriend's house with his family. A kitten walked over to me with an engagement ring tied to its collar, along with a note that said "Marry Me?" I got super excited, only to find out that it was for his brother's girlfriend of 10 months, not me. We've been together 4 years. FML
Today, my boyfriend asked me to marry him by handing me a ring and telling me, "Okay we're engaged now." I should have seen it coming when we started dating, I went to his house one night and as I was leaving he said, "Okay you're my girlfriend now." FML

Isn't that a good thing? I mean, yeah it's not an expensive restaurant and real ring ... but I think it's sweet and almost romantic. :)

Don't post a FML because you are sad you didn't get some multi-thousand dollar ring. He could've given you nothing, like some people on here get. lol

Im sure he has a real ring for you, and btw thats a creative way of asking. I bet he was scared shitless of you rejecting him to his face. Hell at least he proposed that means he loves you at least damn girl. i know it wasnt what you "dreamed" it would be "just like your wedding wont be what you "thought" it would be. **** quit living a damn dream world. Not sure this is an fml. I mean, the guy was being original. It might not be the way you imagined, but try to appreciate the fact that he loves you and wants to spend the rest of his life with you. Times are tough and he might not be able to afford a real ring. Rings may be pretty to look at and a nice symbol but it's not the actual ring that matters. Think of everything he does with and for you in life, does he put love into all of it? That's what matters. Even though it was done online on a facebook app (a really good one too..lol) it doesn't mean he cares any less about you.
