Today, I ran over a recently-killed skunk in the road. My truck now smells absolutely rancid, and the smell will probably last for months. At least it goes well with my dog, who was also skunked 6 weeks ago. FML

The dog still stinking isn't my fault. I was away and my parents had the dog. When it happened, my father asked me what he should do. I gave him the recipe for the Peroxide-baking-soda-dish-soap mix, and then he got all indignant like he always does when he thinks someone is trying to tell him what to do. So, my dog got an initial bath with water and some weak, all-natural shampoo instead, and now me and my father aren't speaking. that alone could have been an FML.

Well, that stinks. Rest in peace, Pepe Le Pew. That aside, lemon juice works wonders on the scent of death. Might be worth looking into, and applying via a spray bottle.
