I bet they see this all the time - your focus is on the massive machine your pelvis is inserted into, and with all the attention being directed at your pelvis (yours, and that which you expect from the technicians) it's only natural for your body to respond in the only way it knows how: pelvic attention = mating opportunity. Essentially, your hind brain (as well as everyone else's on the planet) only recognizes 3 ways to respond to attention: FFF. It will Flee, it will Fight, or well... You weren't going to fight the MRI, you couldn't run, so by default, you got ready for action.
