I hope that they both became your exes... As in Ex-Boyfriend and Ex-Bestfriend. It's a real slap in the face when a best friend does it. Forget the guy, but a trusted friend? That's pretty hefty and you are better off without them.

Are you dumb? If you had learned stuff in history, men have been known to have sideline mistresses while married to females. That would have made the guy an adulterer, but no one would do anything. On the other hand, if a female was convicted of adultery she was often put to death by getting her head chopped off. If you do not believe me, look up King Henry VIII and his six wives.
