Today, I found a guy getting out of my car with my GPS. He started running and I chased him. We eventually reached a dead end and he gave it back to me. I took it back from him and said, "Sorry..." FML

Hehe, I would've done the exact same thing.

Apparently the GPS didn't work very well...

How can you agree with number 8 when you're number 7?

haha.. that had to be kinda awkward

OP could have recovered from the slip by quickly punching the guy in the face. Then the apology would've made sense!

I think he meant it sarcastically, as in I won this time ;)

That sounds more like FHL. "Today, I stole a GPS. The guy saw me, chased me down the street, and I had to awkwardly give it back to him. FML"

Actually: "Today, as I was trying to run off with some dude's GPS (which he'd left in his unlocked car), he saw me and began to chase me. How did he catch me? I hit a dead end. Guess I should have turned the GPS on. I was so pathetic that he apologized for having to chase me down and get his own GPS back. FML."

could be a mlia moment

why the hell would you apologize to him? lmao!

Some people like to apologise a lot when it comes to most things

It's called reinforcing the behavior. He was probably taught to always be polite as he was growing up. So his reaction came naturally to him. And yes, I just replied to a comment more than 5 years later lol.

Totally sounds like somethin I'd do. My social teacher wished me luck on my exam once and I said "yea you too." :s Speech isn't everybody's strong point I guess. Don't feel too bad. =]

People do that all the time at the movie theater I work at. We're supposed to tell them to enjoy the movie, and a lot of people say back, "You, too!" It's really funny, especially when they get embarrassed for saying it. :P

You find joy in my social anxiety. siiigghhh

LMAO, I would do the exact same thing.
