Today, I finally got enough courage to ask out this girl that I've liked for a year. While we were out at lunch, she ran into her ex that she had just broken up with. They then had a long conversation about their relationship, and ended up getting back together. She was my ride home. FML

Valuable lessons here: If you've been patient for a whole year, why not let the dust settle on her break up first. If you insist on dating her so soon, then obviously avoid places where ex's are likely to be Always make your own way to a first date

That really sucks man. But at least it happened before you got too close and attached to her relationship wise. It hurts and sucks 100 times more that way, trust me.
