Watch the movie with them on your birthday! :)
to all of you saying the opening night is so much more important than the OP's birthday, um birthday comes once a year, they can see the movie any other night and IT WILL STILL BE THE SAME MOVIE! WHAT A CONCEPT! i don't get why people get all "zomghavetoseeitonopeningnightzomg!" on everything, from Twilight to HP. the story/movie won't change just because you did not see it on the one night it opened. you can go see it another night and celebrate your friend's birthday on the appropriate night. god people get a f**king life. FYL
You can only see the midnight premiere once. The birthday party can be any day, and a birthday party on wednesday or tuesday? Yes it will be the same movie, but it's only midnight once and these movies will be watched in film for a long time, just like the lord of the rings. It will be remembered more than a random person's birthday.
thats b/c harry potter is EFFING AMZING!!!!!! OMG I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT!! but im not going to opening night, I REFUSE to go to ANY opening night, its just to hectic....the movies the same...lol so yeah ill just see it that wkend
ahaha, FAIL!!! are you a harry potter fan too? if not, FYL
wow your friends are assholes. they can wait a couple days before seeing it... besides the first day seeing it would be nuts because theaters would be CRAMMED! harry potter shouldn't be such a big deal to the point where you can miss a once a year birthday for a friend. i say you should put your party on another day or get new friends
you area blonde arent ya cuz that would explain every dumb question you ask
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA u have to admit it... harry potter is WAAAY better than u... even though i dont know u... im guessing HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
How can you expect them to go to a party the night of Harry Potter? Yes, it's only a movie, but you can't expect them to give up the opportunity to go to one of the only three midnight releases left in the Harry Potter world. It may seem like just a movie release to you, but to a true fan, it's an event that means the world. It's kind of like a once in a lifetime event. I personally plan my summers to make sure I'm free the day of Harry Potter releases. Call me a nerd, but they're important to me. Don't take it personally that they chose the release over your party. Just think of it as another party that they committed to first. It's kind of like, if your favorite band was coming to town, and you already had tickets, would you go to your friend's party instead?Probably not. So sorry that you're so selfish that you just expect the rest of the world to drop their prior plans and commitments just because you want to have a party. Obviously, you didn't research the date well enough. This isn't an fmylife moment because it's not about how much your friends hate you at all. It's about their loyalties to their literature, which is something more people should have. So sorry if you don't read Harry Potter, but you can't mess with the fanbase.

I would honestly have to agree. Opening night of Harry Potter matches no other.
