Today, I discovered that my dog knows how to lock doors. This wouldn't have been a problem if anyone in my house every carried a key. FML

How did you ever expect to get inside your house in the event y'all lock yourselves out accidentally otherwise (without the dog's "help")? We've always hidden a key outside somewhere eg, lock-box secured to (garage) doorknob, plastic key-box buried in flower pot, key left with next-door neighbor, or stowed away inside doghouse (fav!).

Looks like the dog is better trained than the humans.

Do people really have doghouses anymore?

when your pet is more equipped to be a human than you are...

Your dog takes his job as a guard dog very seriously.

I never understand people who don't carry house keys, because I dont understand feeling like one isnt needed.

I misplaced my keys so lucky for me, my dad is always home lol.

I think OP might have meant that they don’t carry it around the house. Like they won’t grab a house key if they step out to take out the trash real quick. Because why would you need to.

You might want to look into a hidden key or a keypad lock.

I don't understand why you would NOT carry a key... what do you do in case you luck yourself out?

Evidently post FMLs about it.
