Today, I couldn't see my car in a crowded car park. I pressed unlock on my keys and saw the lights flash. As I walked over I also saw someone run from my car with an armful of my stuff. FML

Pay attention to where you park it next time. Use landmarks, count the aisles, whatever you have to do. Or hit the panic button and scream "My car, my car! Wherefore art thou my car?!"

That's why you hit the LOCK key, not the UNLOCK key.

When I'm looking for my car I always hit the alarm button, never the unlock. Unless I'm right near it ready to get in. Hopefully it wasn't too important OP

Don't unlock it. Use the lock button or the alarm

This is why most people press the lick button. Car stays locked, lights could still flash and in most cases you get a nice little honk or beep too
