Ahaha, oh man that reminds me of how a young child might mistaken someone else for their mother. But yeah, must've been embarrassing, nonetheless I wouldn't call it a FML.
That will teach you that while it is good to be aware and cautious in these kind of situations judging people just on their size/features will not usually work in your favour. Epic Fail!
I don't think she was judging based on looks. It's just that if a person that size decides to attack you, you'd probably have less chance of escaping than if the person was smaller.
OP is a female, and females usually walk faster at night when they see a man of any size, because they are scared of rape/mugging/murder/etc, and it's easier for a large man to take the females down than for a small man (not saying they can't, it's just harder)
haha awkward...
I thought he was gonna say it was his shadow or something haha
43- He?
how is that racist? she didn't say what the man's race was. Don't be presumptuous. Everyone jumps to conclusions sometimes. It was night time & it was obviously dark. Your senses get heightened with the unknown. What a stupid claim to make! Racist?! Really?
What an obvious lack of a sense of humor! Ruining every thing amusing by berating someone? Really!?
Wow paranoid much? I guess you're lucky the large man didnt think you were trying to steal his car and chase you.
Wow.. thats similar to when I was waiting for my boyfriend to come pick me up. A similar car drove up and out of habit, I came up to it and reached for the handle... Then, I saw my boyfriend actually drive up behind that car. The guy in the car I almost went into opened the window and said "wow. I got all excited for a minute there" and I just walked away. lol scary
This is by far my favorite FML. Thanks for sharing your paranoia!
Your biggest mistake was panicking. What if he had been after you? You probably need to chill out a little bit. Embarrassing, but not really FML.
hahahahaha!!
