Today, I bought a brand new flat screen TV. When I brought it home it didn't work. Furious, I walked into Best Buy and yelled at a guy in a tucked in blue polo and khakis. I asked him why it didn't work and he said he didn't know. I kept screaming. He didn't have a nametag. He didn't work there. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I bought myself a brand-new 52" flatscreen. It was only in my house for 2 hours before my toddler had a tantrum, threw a toy right into the screen and wrecked it beyond repair. I paid to have a nice TV for 2 hours. FML
Today, I bought a brand new TV that cost a pretty penny. I took it home and it had a defect. After a lot of arguing, I was able to exchange the TV for another one. I got it home and it worked amazing. Later on, we had a bad rainstorm, which flooded my room and screwed up not only my new TV, but my PS5, Xbox, and laptop. FML
Today, I walked into Best Buy to buy a 42" widescreen TV I'd been saving up for many months. As I walked in, a man stopped me and handed me my wallet that I'd accidentally dropped. I thanked him. Five minutes later at the checkout, I opened up my wallet to realize it was empty. He had stolen everything. FML
Today, I was chewed out by a lady who claimed the laptop she bought wouldn't turn on, and that she wanted a refund. She yelled and shoved the laptop at me, not even listening when I told her I didn't even work at that store. FML
Today, I purchased a brand new television. Not long after the professional who hung it on my wall left, it came crashing down on my hardwood floor. I'm now left with a busted TV, a tear in my living room wall, and a severely drained bank account. FML
Today, a customer yelled at me because we didn't have any laptops in stock. I work at a clothing store. FML
Today, I got lost at Best Buy. Meanwhile, my mom freaked out, and they called out my name over the intercom. When I walked up to the desk and they saw I was 17, the employees burst out laughing. FML
Today, I went to a store to buy a 43-inch TV that was on sale. The sale was so good that they sold out on the floor. I went to guest services and asked the employee if they had any in the back. She literally went to the back of the room, let out this god awful fart, came back out and said, “Sorry, we don’t.” FML
Today, I got yelled at for providing horrible customer service, in a store I don't even work for. FML
Today, someone came into the store I work at, laughed at my name on my name-tag, and left without even buying anything. FML

Even if he had a name tag, why would you yell at him? "Hey, you work here! You must know exactly what's wrong with the TV I bought from some other employee a while ago! "

Wow. Hate is a strong word, but I "dislike-a-whole-lot" people with superiority complexes. And that's what we're dealin' with here. You're not better because you're a customer, you're not better if you're more educated, and you're not better if you have a higher paying job. You're not better, period. And you totally proved that. It's one thing to get frustrated with people who suck at their jobs and don't know what they're doing, but it's a completely different story to YELL at people for something that's out of their control. YDI. Why would you just walk into the store and start yelling? Even if he worked there it wouldn't be an excuse. Of course, some people will take any excuse to do that. They are probably between monkeys and humans on the evolutionary scale. Responding to the situation with histrionics shows little control over your emotions. Take a breath and comport yourself like a human being. Or are you just another animal in clothes? Maybe next time you can take a dump in your hand first and start flinging it at people.

People like you are the reason I couldn't f**king stand working retail! It is NOT the store employee's fault that your television didn't work and I'm sure if you'd calmly explained your situation, they'd have been MUCH more willing to help you. Store employees are NOT paid nearly enough to take your shit. That not withstanding, I feel bad for this guy who was just trying to SHOP! I hope you've been banned from shopping there in the future.
