Today, I asked my class to name some West African countries. Several of them thought Ebola was a country. I teach an AP history class. FML

If you teach AP, who teaches Q-Z?

Goodbye, Earth! I'm getting a one-way ticket to Mars.

Yeap definitely not joking around or anything. (Sarcasm)And no idea how this pertains to you as the students are the ones making fools of themselves. **** your life? For what students are SAYING? that's odd, please no more shit posts

I think they were messing with you my ap history class loved to mess with the teacher. We would always pronounce country and state names wrong. For example in that class Virginia was pronounced like virg-eye-nia.

In my Ap Human Geography class there was a boy who got South America and Africa confused. The same day a girl called the Vatican- Vacation City.

Isn't Ebola the name of a river? That's how the virus got its name, from where it first appeared. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow and we wonder why the rest of the world is passing us by.

when I was in high school my class would answer stuff like that just for laugh. I suspect the same for your class too.
