Pooor you! I hope you get better x
Unless you lived in a different home and never had to come in contact with them, you'd still be sick. I am also a mom, and my two boys and husband get sick all the time. It's hit or miss, really. Keep your hands as clean as possible, and sterilize everything during the day!
Covering your mouth is purely for decorum's sake. It doesn't actually stop the germs from going everywhere.
Coving your mouth with the crook of your elbow does help. Stuff can still get into the air a little, but keeping germs away from your hands is crucial. You touch a lot of stuff in the home that would spread it!
Woman you have kids... you’re gonna get sick. I wash my hands, cover my face, get them to cover theirs.. I can literally do everything besides wear a hazmat suit and I’ll usually catch what they have unless I gave it to them lmao
Surprise! Holding your hand in front of your mouth doesn't prevent the spread of germs. It's just good manners to do so.
Not supposed to use your hand, use the crook of your elbow! You use yours hands for everything and if you cough into it and touch something, instantly spread! Door knobs, fridge handle, tables, chairs. Doesn't get rid of it all as airborne droplets from the cough or sneeze can still get out, but it does prevent touch transfer!
Welcome to parenthood.
