I once had "unbreakable" glasses frames, and I showed them off to a group of my fellow engineers. Turned out that "unbreakable" was a marketing term and not a technical one.

Don't feel too bad. I've fallen for everything from Sea Monkeys to Mail-Order Brides! All that money and all I got was an envelope of fishy-smelling powder! The Sea Monkeys were also a rip-off.

Don't demonstrate that a gun is unloaded. Just assume all guns are always loaded.
