The Shining

Today, I was babysitting my 4-year-old twin brothers yet again. I began to get desperate when they took my phone and would start crying every time I tried to take it back. My mother found me thirty minutes later, huddled in a corner, crying. I'm 27 years old. FML

It is A OK. Some people cannot handle children. And they're not your children, they're your brothers. On top of that, they're TWIN 4-Year Olds! OH MY GOSH! Do not ever feel bad. It is SO much to handle when they don't respect you or listen in the first place. Some people have a knack. I guarantee you, your mom has hidden in a corner crying from them both as well multiple times. There's no such thing as terrible twos. It's the 3-4 year old's that hit my life harder with my boys as they grow!

Nervous breakdown because it's extremely overwhelming to take care of twin children, especially when they're not listening or are constantly crying. Would you let a pair of 4 year old's handle your phone? Did you know they drop it, spit on it, pick their nose and use it? I don't even let my 4yo and 7yo use my phone. It's an expensive piece of technology, and if they were BOTH crying and screaming when you wouldn't let them have it AND they wouldn't stop, this outcome is completely understandable. OP doesn't have kids, they're her brothers. Even if they were her kids, the response to hide away and cry is completely normal if you're overwhelmed and are not used to handling it.

Who is baby-sitting whom?

Nervous break down because a 4 year old wouldn't give your phone back?

I know children are difficult but dang man. Make sure you’re ready before you become a father. Or do what I did. Get a vasectomy.

Kids aren’t for everyone lol it’s ok

Wait, you're 27 and have four-year-old brothers? Damn... Also, sounds like those kids need some discipline. Pop them in the butt!
