I disagree. Sometimes it is easier to get involved with S&M with someone that you don't have an emotional connection too. I find that sometimes it's easier to be completely honest with people that I have no connection to, which in turn makes it easier for me to express my deepest fantasies. Love is most definitely not a requirement for good S&M.
