That’s something you’d do to a dog, not a whole human sibling. What the fudge
This is stupid and sad - Instead of sharing happy news with their older child the parents held back so they could video the moment for sharing on social media. It’s a sad sign of our times when for some people “likes” on a posting are more important than actually communicating with loved ones… On the other hand, OP this is your parents and your sibling we are talking about. While I agree that your parents behaved strangely and foolishly, it’s not worth a permanent family rift over. Your sibling is not your child, it’s your parents’ child. I suggest that if this is the only problem you have with your parents, that it’s time to move on and forgive and forget the incident. Hanging onto something like this is not healthy.
Okay, honestly I dont think they meant any harm parents sometimes do stuff they think is funny like embarrassing clothes and saying or doing stupid things infront of your friend. I get it your hurt and that sucks but honestly dont beat up on them to hard because right now their whole world has changed and they have to learn to be parents all over again instead of grandparents. Just tell them it upset and bothered you so you get it out there but dont get too upset they are only human.
Sounds like your parents have more interest in getting likes and clicks, watch over the child, you might be it’s only normal role model
You're a grown-ass adult. Why are you so wound up about a baby who's practically a different generation than you?
You didn't notice your mom's cheeks getting puffy during the video calls?
