Today, my friends and I noticed that people, no matter what stereotype, pretty much all have the same type of friends: the mean one, the funny one, etc., and started naming off the people in our group who fit into those personalities. We got to the token fat one, everyone looked at me and stopped talking. FML

Today, I saw my friends talking about plans for later during lunch. I walked over and asked for the plan. My best friend of 12 years gently took me aside, and said "You know that person in each group of friends that is only around to be made fun of? That's you." I just got dumped by my friends. FML

Today, I was at a club with my friends, when a group of guys approached us. It got quiet for a second, and I heard one of them say, "It's okay, I've got the fat one this time," then walk over and start talking to me. FML

Today, I was having dinner with my college friends to celebrate the end of our first year. I said really great things about them as individuals. The only thing they had to say to me was, "Thanks for being the token black friend." FML

Today, I've noticed a pattern with my classmates: Every time a new student shows up, they are treated by my classmates as though they've known each other for years. Everyone except me. When I first came along, I was more or less a wallflower. No one wanted anything to do with me. The same is true today. FML

Today, I went downtown with my friends. A group of guys came up to us and started hitting on everyone except me. Then one of them said, "Do you girls hang out with her to make yourselves look better?" FML

You do realize that you spelled it exactly the same way as the OP right? Don't try to correct someone and then spell it the same way, especially when they are correct and you make a mistake. Just an idea OP - "no matter what stereotype" / | | identical | / bright_lights - "its stereotype, darling. learn to spell."

I hate how people assume you're obese when you could be healthy weight and just a little chubby. Not all people that are chubby are unhealthy, sometimes it's just because of your body type. However, I still have to say YDI to this one, for stereotyping. That's a no-no.

Yeah.. It sucks.. If you don't do something about it.. You'll always be known as the fat one.. But, I guess it's your parents fault.. They shouldn't have raised you with those eating/ exercising habits.. People these days *shakes head*..

Well, when you're overweight, you don't really notice easily. Being in denial is different than trying not to think about it. If a fat person constantly thought about how fat they are and how their diet isn't working out, they'd be seriously depressed.
