Today, it's the first day in 3 weeks that I'm in my flat after 7 a.m. due to a very busy work schedule. I was looking forward to a Saturday lie-in. Also today, my flatmate's alarm clock went off loudly from 7:30 to 10:30. He's in another country and his door is locked. Bye bye lie-in. FML

Today, I got a new comfy duvet and pillow and was looking forward to a good night's sleep. I got into bed and was followed by my dog, who then threw up the tub of butter he had just stolen from the kitchen onto my brand new bed spread. FML

Today, with one week left until I fly to my new apartment, movers loaded my belongings, and happily drove off. They even loaded my unpacked, inflated air mattress. Looks like I'm sleeping on the floor for a week. FML

Today, I was napping. I woke up to my pillow making some sounds. Thinking it was my head shifting my pillow, I went back to sleep. Later on I woke up to the sounds again, and a mouse staring at my face. FML

Hey pillows are important!! Have you ever tried sleeping without one? It sucks a lot. I ended up using my dog as a pillow.

i agree. and there is nothing wrong w/ staying in! after a week of lectures, labs, exams, quizzes... and headaches that come with them, all i want to do is hibernate lol. also i got excited when i finally found one of those long body pillows :)

I have a body pillow. So cold and comfy, I get overheated while sleeping (yay Florida, not). And after the holidays I am getting a mattress pad. I think I'll sleep all day on it.

this is SO NOT an FML. sleep is great, especially for those of us who are sleep deprived. but sleep is not better than sex, like someone above suggested lol.

Today, I was fired from my cashier job for "abandoning my post." I saw a man pass out in the 100° heat in front of our store and I rushed to give him water. Not to worry though, my manager assured me he wouldn’t press charges for the water I took from the fridge, but I’m still fired. FML
