Rude boy

Today, while shopping with my 6-year-old daughter, she said, "Mommy, remember you wanna get duck tape!" A middle-aged guy nearby scoffed and told her, "DUCT, not DUCK. Dumb cunt." I ended up having to drive my bawling daughter home, with no shopping. FML

I still call it duck tape because I use it to tape the mouths of quacking idiots like that guy. What a bird brain.

You should have popped that douche in his mouth . Any guy that talks like that deserves an ass whooping.

As others have said "duck tape" is a brand of of duct tape. It's also very hard to tell the difference when you hear it anyway. So especially for a 6 year old not at all unreasonable to call it duck tape. So him trying to correct her is stupid anyway and he's an idiot for that. But calling a 6 year old a ****? If I'd heard that even as another customer it would have been so difficult to not flip out and punch him, if it was actually my child it would be a real miracle if I managed. Not acceptable at all. He definitely has no right to be acting so superior, he's an idiot and an ass.

He should of been decked for the lack of manners. it's easy to slip up duct and duck considering they have a duck logo on the tape.

What possesses a so-called grownup to say such a horrible thing to a 6 year-old?!

"Duck tape" and "duct tape" sound almost identical, hence the common mistake. How the heck did he even know which she'd said?

Tell me his name, my R870's loaded and, trust me, I won't miss.

Yo he called a 6 year old a dumb ****. You should've honestly knocked him one OP, as for the FML part about the no shopping, really? That's your issue with this whole thing?
