wow, after reading many female's comments about their periods, i guess i don't have it so bad. mine lasts for a week, is still a bit irregular [even though i've had it for 3 years], but i never get cramps, never get sick, & it's not super heavy. i can wear a pad a day & not leak one drop. yeahh, probably tmi, but i don't care. sucks about the cyst, i've never had one, so i don't know the pain of it, but it sounds quite unpleasant. hope it doesn't come back though ! (:

I had the same thing. They told me to use those, too. I told them to go to hell and got 8x10 abdominal bandages and use those instead because it works just as well, is cheaper, and doesn't kill my pride as much.

LMAO!!! I laughed really hard when I read this... Oh well, at least you wont have to put up with it for several days for a month for the majority of your life, with cramps (headaches in my case) and moodswings :P xxox

This actually happened to my dad and it took him a week to figure out the pads made my whole house smell because he didn't wrap them in toilet paper when he threw them away.

Please build a bridge and get over it, girls have to put up with periods once a month. you have to put up with a cyst for 2 weeks.

Shove your pride out the door and wear it. There is no shame in doing something for your health. Imagine if you were a woman and had to wear a maxi-pad (or something similar) once a month.
