Today, my job threatened to fire me because I left work early. I left because I can't sit, stand, lay down or walk due to back pain. I went to my doctor after leaving work and turns out I have a herniated disc. My job still doesn't care, and my job is now in jeopardy. FML
I hate to be one of those people, but I say you can do a lawsuit. they can't fire you because of health reasons, that is assuming you went through the right steps of telling them if the problem.
Did you just get up and leave without telling anyone? If so, YDI. If you were scheduled accordingly and/or made management aware of your need and had an appointment to see a doctor, then FYL.
