Today, I was reading my students' Halloween stories I made them write for my creative writing class in high school. One of my students wrote about attacking me. She got my street address perfect and everything. FML

Today, my teacher read my story about a haunted house for a class assignment. She liked it very much and turned it in to the office to be sent into a state writing competition. An hour later, I was called to the office where the guidance counselor called my work "disturbing" and said I "need help". FML
Today, one of my classmates got bullied and the whole class got to wrote 2000 words about that. FML
Today, a classmate at college accused me of stalking her. All because I walked past her house. I was walking to the supermarket. FML
Today, I had to make up a story about my "friends" at school so my mom doesn't keep telling I'm a loser. FML
Today, a kid came Trick-or-Treating at my house. When I told her it was still one more day until Halloween, and that I didn't have any candy, she wound-up her fist, punched me in the groin, and ran off laughing. FML
Today, I turned in an essay after staying up late to work on it. I was away when the teacher assigned it, so I'd asked my friend what the subject was. It transpires that she'd given me the wrong one, all because she was mad at me for not returning her pencil. FML
Today, I forbade a student in the writing seminar I instructed from continuing to present his disturbing poems about demons. He responded to this by convincing nearly every other student in the seminar to write and read out loud several of his poems. FML
Today, in the class I'm teaching, I assigned my students an essay to complete for homework. One student asked me if I was deducting points for bad spelling. I teach English. FML
Today, a parent of one of the students I teach called me to complain that I was teaching her child "lies" and "fairytales". I was teaching them about the Holocaust. FML
Today, I collected my students' notes in class to check them. One girl, who is always drawing weird anime crap in her sketchbook, turned in just one piece of paper that read, "FUCK YOUR CLASS." FML

I'm going to go out on a assumption and say YDI - you're probably one of those shitty teachers that impact a childs life in such a horrible way that not one this single student dreams about killing you in their sleep but the entire freaking class and school faculty also dreams this...

You need to show her writing to the principal and see what can be done. A lot of schools have disciplinary action for threatening a teacher, even in writing. Then talk with the parents, so that they can put her in therapy. Not to scare you, but you also might want to speak with a police officer about what would be needed for a restraining order, and might at least want to file some sort of report, so that it's on record. Also, if you get a lot of hangups or prank phone calls, you should log them in a notebook beside the phone; additionally, some phone companies will keep records for you of incoming calls, if you let them know you're being harrassed. If you don't have a security system, consider getting one, and never leave your doors and windows unlocked. (Including your car.) Oh, and if you have outside pets, you might decide to keep them inside as much as possible, when you're not there watching them. At very least, show it to the principal and talk to the kid's parents. Sometimes these things are benign, but nowadays you can't be too careful, so that you don't end up a statistic.
