Here in Pennsylvania, where I live we got about 16 inches, it took my uncle and I, in our combined effort, 6 hours to clear our driveway, with him using a snowblower. I feel your pain OP.
You should have outsourced the work to someone who owns a snow blower. Do you want to die like John Henry?
if you only have two to four inches of snow use your shovel like a plow push the snow into piles then shovel the piles it'll go much quicker
as a canadian who grew up on a corner lot... side to side with a deep and wide shovel. push as much as you can to the sides of the driveway. do it in sections if need be. it will be faster and much easier than most people scoop and toss
