Today, my faculty mentor for my senior capstone project wasn't at my presentation for the entire department faculty. I assumed his wife or kids were sick, but that piece of shit told me himself that he was at home watching the new season of Stranger Things. FML

At least, it appears that the show has influenced him. "Friends tell no lies".

Eh it happens. I did an internship that capped with a district wide presentation to multiple directors. My supervisor no showed on me. I got incredibly positive feedback and several people commented on her absence. If the expectation is that the mentor will be there, it reflects worse on the mentor than on you.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, over many a quaint and curious volume of possible comments. I came up with nothing.

So why does this have a pepper?

I sat through five senior capstone projects tonight at they were all episodes of Stranger Things! Fortunately, they all weirded me out to the good! Good job!

Everyone needs a break from crap once in a while.
