Donating an organ is wonderful, but it's just that--a donation. You can't seriously think that means she's obligated to stay with you forever.

You deserved it for being selfish. A selfless person would donate their kidney and not expect a single thing. You're selfish because you treated the kidney as contractual obligation for her to stay for the rest of her life. And since you are selfish, I wouldn't put it past you to try and gain sympathy for your situation. I imagine "everything" she took was everything she bought herself. I know I'm just assuming. But, you screwed yourself in how you worded your story.
