aww, that's so sad. confront her, tell her you don't appreciate her lying, and if she didn't want to be in a relationship with you, you at least deserve the truth on why, so you don't make the same mistake twice.

Either she's just flat out lying or something isn't right with her. Maybe she dreamed of him telling her that? Or she thought she got a sign from him? 2 years isn't that long ago in a situation like this so she could still be hurting.
