Today, the police came to my house and arrested me. Why? The neighborhood kids thought it would be fun to hide behind my house and shoot at people with paintball guns. People saw it coming from my house and called the police. I was fired from work, due to missing it without notice. No excuses. FML

Today, I came home from work to find that my neighbor's trash bins were still on the curb. While returning the bins to her backyard, her kid ran out and shot me with a paintball gun. Multiple times. He thought I was a burglar and ruined my new suit. FML
Today, I was doing target practice with my new paintball pistol. One of the bullets missed, and hit my new neighbor's house. I went up to the door to apologize, not realizing I was still holding the paintball gun. My ex-soldier neighbor thought I was robbing him and put me in a chokehold. FML
Today, I walked out of my house wearing only boxers, only to be greeted by kids with paintball guns. FML
Today, at work, there was a police officer waiting for me. Bewildered, I asked what the problem was. Someone had shot fireworks at cars in the parking lot and I was a suspect. Why? Ponytails on men apparently look suspicious. FML
Today, I was at a party when the cops showed up. They asked whether anyone had a gun, but I heard "fun" instead and raised my hand. I got searched. FML
Today, after my parents left for the weekend, my "friends" decided to throw a party at my house, despite my protests. In order to get them to leave, I called the police. I was the only one arrested, while they got warnings. FML
Today, I was shot and arrested for trespassing. I'm a firefighter and I was saving a child. FML
Today, a customer at work became violent and started hitting me and my coworker. Not wanting him to get the shit beat out of us, I used a move that pinned the guy on the ground. The police came and he was arrested. I was then fired for assaulting a customer. FML
Today, being so desperate for money, I accepted a job in which I get shot at with paintballs for six hours. FML
Today, it was my friend's paintball party and we were doing it in a forest nearby. When I arrived at his house, his parents said they already started, so I geared up and went out there to find that there was a note on a tree. It said 'Sorry', and then twenty people jumped from bushes and ambushed me. FML

Time for a lawyer and go talk to the police chief and call your former boss and let them know thats a wrongful termination also in some states not only can you sue the parents but you may be able to sue the police station for false arrest

Out it to the media. Put the kids actions in scrutiny. File a wrongful arrest suit and then file against parents of kids. The media sill help prove your case against the wrongful termination when it goes to court. Also, send an email to the ceo of your company decrying what the manager did and tell them you’ll pursue legal action if this is not settled right. Having a lawyer send the letter is a better idea. But in either case, you definitely need a lawyer. Dont do the legal process yourself or you’ll get screwed. Trust me on this one.

Everyone is saying you should sue your employer but that doesn't make sense. It's not wrongful termination you didn't show up for your shift. It doesn't matter why you didn't show up your car could have been broken down, your dog could have died it wouldn't have mattered if you miss a shift you miss a shift.Especially in this case where you didn't give notice that you weren't showing up.
