Today, I let my sister use my phone to play music in the shower, expecting her to use the speakers I have. She used a ziplock bag with a hole in it to connect her headphones. Now I have a waterlogged phone and my sister still doesn't understand why it didn't work. FML

Today, my little sister was using my phone to play games. About an hour later, she came to me and said my phone wouldn't work. Turns out my phone had gotten hot and she put it in water to cool it down. FML
Today, my roommate was making a waterproof iPhone case and decided to use my phone to test it out. It didn't work. FML
Today, I wanted to annoy my sister by playing the air horn app on my iPhone. I forgot that I had headphones in. Let's just say I quickly had to change my underwear. FML
Today, my youngest decided my phone needed a bath in the toilet. FML
Today, I learned the reason they say don't keep your phone in high humidity places. I left my phone on the counter when I went to take a shower. It now won't turn on due to water damage and the warranty doesn't cover it. FML
Today, my little sister asked me to open a jar of pickles for her. I struggled a little until the lid busted open, and pickle juice poured over my pocket and the iPhone inside. My sister then sniffed the jar, made a disgusted face, and ran out. FML
Today, after I accidentally put my headphones through the washing machine and then drying them out, they somehow still worked, but only in one ear. I was about to accept my fate when the other side suddenly started playing audio at full volume during a quiet train ride. FML
Today, I went deep-sea fishing with my friends. I told them my new phone case is waterproof, and I showed them by pouring a bit of water on it. My friend decided to throw it in the water for a better example. The case didn't float. FML
Today, my sister and I had a huge fight because I flushed the toilet while she was taking a bath. The faucet for the bath was not running, but she insisted that she felt the water in the tub turn "scalding hot." She won't listen when I try to explain to her that it doesn't work like that. FML
Today, I put my phone in the dishwasher by accident. I'd left it on the kitchen counter with a bunch of dirty stuff and, distracted, loaded it in with the plates. I only realized it when the dishwasher started making weird noises. My phone was soaked and blinking with bubbles inside. It didn’t survive. FML

I understand that you had faith in your sister, but one question.. How old is she? If she's young you kind of deserve it for not making sure she had the correct equipment.

If you're old enough to use a shower on your own, you're old enough to know that electronics and water don't mix. It's not that difficult, anything that runs on electricity and is not explicitly stated to be waterproof absolutely cannot come in contact with water. Even a child should understand this.

Or a Sony Z1/2!! But seriously, you could still **** up the headphones...and maybe **** up the phone by ******* up the headphones whilst they're plugged in. Even if the phone is waterproof, it's best not to tempt fate. It's not exactly difficult to get speakers or a radio or something. How does one even wash while wearing headphones??

Well the first part was a mostly mocking the original comment but by also plugging my own favourite brand. Call it shameful/shameless/ironic, etc. But the second part was pointing out that even if you have a waterproof phone, whatever make, it's still not wise to do what OP's sister did. I don't think it's too unnecessary a comment.

Nah, it IS pretty nice, especially as the acoustics are normally good in a bathroom. However, it's not normally worth bothering for a normal shower...I get my speakers out if I'm having a long shower involving washing hair, shaving legs, dying hair, etc but it's not really necessary when you're just getting ready in the morning.

#33- Unfortunately, I can't have my headphones on 24/7, so listening to music while I shower is a great alternative. It's not about being obsessed with your phone, just enjoying a mini concert in the morning. :]
