Today, I went to a Bat Mitzvah. We played a game where all of the girls grabbed one of their shoes and placed it in the middle. Then, all of the guys had to pick a shoe. Whatever guy picked the shoe, the girl had to dance with. No one picked my shoe. Everyone else was dancing except for me. FML

Today, my sister had her batmitzvah. During the party, there is a tradition where the batmitzvah gets lifted on a chair, and so does her family. It was my turn after my sister's. I got in the chair. They couldn't lift me. FML

Today, I was at a party. The music changed to a slow dance. Everybody grabbed a partner and I was left on the dancefloor alone. Suddenly, this guy walked up to me. I swore that he was going to ask me to dance. He then said, "Could you hold me my drink?" and went to dance with another girl. FML

Today, I was at my friend's Bar Mitzvah. After he finished his long-winded speech, I sarcastically did the mockingjay sign from the Hunger Games. It took a couple of seconds before I realized how that looked, and a couple more for me to be shouted down and kicked out. FML

Today, although I can't dance, I decided to go to a club. A really cute girl asked me to dance, and I politely declined. She kept insisting, so I finally said okay. A few minutes in, she stopped, looked at me, and said, "If you're going to make fun of my dancing, I'm leaving." FML

Today, I was talking with some of my friends who are girls. They were all complaining about how there was no good boys left to ask to the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Hoping for an invite I mentioned I was still available. They just laughed at me and invited me to come dress shopping with them. FML

oh my gosh this same type of thing happened to me at a church dance. but then the dj told everyone that nobody had gotten my shoe cuz there were too many girls, and all of the guys ran up to me to ask me to dance :|

lol #1 i remember once at this Bat Mitzvah we were playing the game levitation. and basically you have to lay on top of one person and some1 lays on you while you in chairs. then when they move the chairs away you are laying on one another and depending on each other to support you (with just your feet on the ground) and i played and i was in some random guys crotch and had another guy laying on mine. I had to get out and when i did, i broke the levitation. everyone hated me.

why are there so many weird-ass games at bar/bat mitzvahs? grabbing shoes? #27's game? holding people up in chairs? WTF, i dont get what that has to do with anything. oh well. anyway, OP, buy new shoes...and too bad, you are 13, still at the awkward stage. it will get better and you can learn some style. maybe?
