Today, my best friend got a new boyfriend. She asked him what he wanted for his upcoming birthday, and he said he just wanted to hang out with her and watch a movie or two. I thought it was sweet, so I asked my boyfriend what he would like for his upcoming birthday. He said a blow job. FML

#106 "You CAN have a healthy relationship w/o sex" Well, yes. The people you have this kind of relationship with are called friends.

illeyad, if a girl wants her boyfriend to have a romantic evening with her, she should say "let's do something nice for your birthday." Most guys are not retards. From that simple statement he should be able to pull from that- fun, romantic couple activities; picnic, day at the beach, dinner at a fancy restaurant, things like that. He'll know how to handle that. You simply ask a guy "what do you want?" and he pulls the first thing from his mind that he knows he'll like. You asked. He delivered. Because it's his birthday, that only makes it worse, since there seems to be some unofficial standard that guys with girlfriends are all but guaranteed to score some action on special occasions.

Okay, can we cut out the sexism please. There is no "Universal Boy Code" to interpret the boyfriend's request. If I say I want to watch a movie, then I want to watch a movie, not get a *******. There are a lot of things I would rather do with my girlfriend than a *******. That doesn't make me better than boys who want ********, but don't stereotype us all by saying that the friend's boyfriend must be lying. Maybe all he wants is a nice romantic night.

Wow, that sounds exactly like something my boyfriend would say. Some men can be such jerks lol.

#1 is right, you asked... if that's what he wants then that's what he wants.

Give him a *******! What's wrong with that, if you're a good girlfriend you'll do something he likes for his birthday, not something you think he wants to do.

i dont get it? thats great, its not like you dont do it anyway, and now you dont have to spend alot of money!

1) What everyone else said (you asked...) 2) And it's not like your boyfriend knew that you thought this other guy was so sweet. 3) Speaking of this other guy, you are now comparing your boyfriend to another guy and putting your boyfriend against the standard of another man. "You deserved it" for that. Your relationship will probably not last. 4) It's his BIRTHDAY! What is wrong with a BJ, as long as you two have gone that far already? I can understand your pain if you have told him to wait until marriage, like my fiancée says (and to which I agree), or to wait until X number of years has gone by, but if you two do that sort of thing... You and a lot of your female sympathizers watch too many chick flicks. YDI.
