FYL. :(
Heh...sounds like a young kid...and I'm willing to lay pretty good odds that, from the "her kid" comment it IS a single parent home barely making it. Kid's probably left alone a lot and freaked when he saw a man-shape in his back yard. The splat was probably immediately followed by "Oh man, I'm so sorry Mr. [fill in the name] ! my mom's gonna kill me! I'm so sorry..." repeat till OP said "it's alright kid [or fill in the name], calm down." Reminds me a bit of a Dennis the Menace scenerio...but then it wasn't ME getting hit by the paintballs.
Guys... (s)he was just trying to be nice. The kid's a douche. Sorry about your suit, OP. :(
He probably just watched Home Alone. Check for superglue on the doorknobs.
No you did not deserve it. And to anybody who said he did: He was trying to do something kind for his neighbor, something he didn't have to do. It's a more classic sort of respect, something that has been lost in this era. Neighbors used to do little things like this for each other. The boy next door might shovel your snow for you, mow your lawn or put your garbage out; they would watch your kids and you could ask to borrow sugar (cliche, but true) because neighbors used to help each other with around the house sort of chores and not expect any form of monetary payment; all that was expected was that you would be a good neighbor as well and do similar things in return. Either way shooting the OP with a paintball gun makes it seem like the kid is trigger-happy. Probably shouldn't be left alone with those sorts of things. ;)
Paintballs are water soluble so you can just dry clean them and it should be like 95% out.
Can someone please explain to me why people post questions for the OP? Does the OP ever answer these questions? Does the OP have the ability to answer them by posting in their own FML thread?
All I know is that if I were robbing a house, and some punk kid shot me with a paintball gun, I'd shoot him with a real gun. He needs to learn some manners. Sorry about your suit. Hopefully it will wash out.

damn man. that does suck. my suggestion... get a paintball gun and have some fun of your own :p jk. dont do that.
While I don't really know the whole story, but I do know that my neighbors are really nice and just the type of people that would put our trashcans or whatever back in our driveway if they blew away or we left them out, and we'd do the same for them, so... fyl.
