i intensely dislike facial hair. i cant stand it. literally, it drives me insane. i dont have a clue how other people can have a beard or a mustache without going insane. my only guess is, they are already insane...

Sounds like you now need to groom your beard in such a way it looks like it never caught fire. If it's still long enough, maybe shampoo it to get the smell out. As for preventing it from happening again, you can either stop smoking or not light the cigar with it in your mouth.

As a man who has also done this a few months back, all I can say is trim your beard. Clean it up and treat your face fuzz like a bonzi tree. Little trims regular and soon you will have a mighty face foliage to rival any man. Always a shame when a beard suffers.
