Today, I got two viruses on my laptop. One was a fake anti-spyware program that cluttered the screen with pop-ups. The other opened the browser repeatedly, each time to a generic porn site. This all conveniently happened at work, on a projector and during a meeting. FML

Today, discovered that all the viruses I have gotten on my computer at work haven't been from anything I've done, but because my boss has secretly been using it after hours to download or watch porn so he wouldn't risk getting a virus on his own computer. I've lost 3 major projects due to this. FML

Today, I'm in my third week at a new job. Using an online service our company recommends, I accidentally downloaded a virus that is now working its way through our website, randomly sending our customers Viagra ads via our email. I personally had to tell the founder of the company. FML

Today, my mom thought it would be a good idea to see what websites I go on from my computer while I wasn't home. She clicked the link that gave my computer a virus that I just got rid of a few days ago. FML

Today, my dad was sat on my laptop in the living room trying to learn how to do some rewiring around the house when he, and I quote, ”clicked on the thing.” My laptop is now riddled with so many viruses it’s basically a house brick. FML

Today, I was laying down on my couch. My friend IM's me on my laptop to watch a video. It turned out that the video was one of those scary pop up's. I got so scared I dropped my laptop. The screen had a big crack. FML

Today, my friend asked to borrow my new laptop to email his college professor. When he returned it, it had a virus on it, and I had to fish out two pubic hairs that were sticking out between the keys. FML

Today, at work, my mouse cursor kept randomly moving all over the screen, and messed up an entire day's attempted work. As I was leaving, I overheard one of my co-workers saying he'd plugged a wireless mouse adapter into my computer, and had been trolling me all day. FML

let me make this simply for the mac vs window thing 1 mac=$2000 1 hp laptop $400-$800 i would prefer to have 2 laptops $1600 and you dont need an 60 dollar antivirus but lets say you want it that makes a total of $1720 and $280 left to spend on what ever the **** you want so what do you prefer a mac or two windows laptops plus $280 and mac sucks ball becuase most programs are windows only so **** you lol

Two things: 1. You got the virus while in the middle of a meeting while projecting what was on your computer to everyone? Were you making a presentation or surfing random sites? 2. Do you mean internet explorer instead of windows explorer?

Specs between Macs and Windows computers are incomparable, because since both the hardware and software in Mac bare designed, manufactured, and tailored by the same company, there's a tighter connection between the OS and hardware of a Mac than a PC. I have a PC and a Mac, bought at the same time. The PC is technically much more powerful than the Mac, in terms if hardware, yet the Mac runs much quicker than the PC. I have a similar situation going on with my Toshiba notebook and Macbook Pro. Even after at least a year or two of extensive use, only the Macbook still runs at optimal speed.
