Called out but accurate

Today, I was jamming out in my car, tapping my fingers on the wheel and bobbing my head. At the next stoplight, I happened to look over and the passenger of the car next to me was holding a sign in the window saying, "I bet you don't have a boyfriend, do you?" FML

Yeah honestly if it's a he I think it was a misguided attempt to hit on you. I can't imagine how dancing or singing along with music in a car would imply that you don't have a boyfriend, or how it would make you an unattractive person. I'm guessing OP took it the worst way because she's already upset that she doesn't have a boyfriend and this person nailed it with a guess... but don't worry about it, nothing wrong with what you were doing.
