Assman

Today, I love my boyfriend just as I always have, but I'm realizing I don't know if we'll last because he's an angry drunk. He drinks frequently, and I've talked to him about it, only to be met with, "I'm a grown ass man." FML

Just one word: RUN! You will not be able to fix him, his issues will only get worse and at the end he may even get violent. Leave him and live better life in the future

Tell him he’s also a grown-ass alcoholic. Grown-ass men have responsibilities and should listen to reason and constructive criticism in order to be good partners and good people.

I agreed with everything before the word "man."

If he consistently refuses to accept help, get out now. It will only get worse for you from here.

Please think about your own safety and get out while you can. You’ll meet other guys that you’ll fall in love with who are way less likely to abuse you

When he can't control himself when he drank or thinks that it's okay - no, then he's not a grown ass man.

This sounds like a very risky and dangerous situation, I hope you're safe. It seems like the best option to remove yourself now before things escalate. I'd also like to recommend therapy, specifically DBT therapy. Best of luck to you
