Today, I woke up and decided that I no longer give a fuck what I look like. Today is also the day a very attractive exchange student joined my private band lessons. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, after months of looking forward to my new fencing lessons and speculating endlessly about the people who might be in my class, I went to my first lesson. I was the only one who showed up. FML
Today, I found out that the very good-looking woman who sings for one of my favorite bands is actually a guy. FML
Today, I got up the courage to go to my very first voice lesson. I thought I did alright, but at the end my teacher told me, "Now don't worry about grades in this class, I grade on effort, not on talent." FML
Today, I went to school without makeup. No one recognized me. FML
Today, I started my new job as a teacher. Worried about how I looked, I asked a coworker if I looked okay. She said, "You look fine. Just like a normal high school kid." I spent the next half hour convincing her that I was not a student, but a teacher. FML
Today, I was chatting with the cute new receptionist at the gym. I told her that I would be going there more if she was there. She looked me up and down and said that I should go regardless. FML
Today, I dolled myself up and hit the campus gym, hoping to leave with a cute boy's number. I left in a stretcher. FML
Today, our favorite teacher walked into our history class and everyone started whistling, I decided to join in by screaming, "Sexy!" The room went quiet and all heads turned to me. FML
Today, I was singing in my dorm. When I left a little later, a cute guy came up to me and asked if I was the girl who'd been singing. I proudly said yes. He replied, "Good thing you finally shut the fuck up!" and walked away. FML
Today, for the first time, a good looking guy was in my yoga class. Today also marked the first time I farted during yoga class. FML

Ohio is where it's at! Our sports teams haven't won any championship since before I was born. Cleveland is one of the poorest major cities in the US. We get lake effect weather from lake Erie, so our weather is bi-polar. And the Ohio River is so polluted that it actually caught on fire once. Sounds great doesn't it? . . .

98- Other states have other features besides an ocean view. Some people prefer mountains dominating the landscape. Others prefer the neon glow of the city, such as New York City or Las Vegas. Getting my point? While I agree, California is pretty ******' awesome, it depends on the individual for 'which US state is the best'.
