Shouldn't you be with her family?
When are men going to learn that telling ANYONE ELSE about their plans to propose is a really bad idea?
Ughh... Somebody is not coping well with their "baby" leaving. Or doesn't like not being the center of attention
I say it's time to try again... at a dinner where the two of you are alone. Isn't it a basic tendency for public proposals to be uncomfortable and applying unnecessary pressure on the one being proposed to? Your mom is unknowingly doing you a favor, by maximizing the chances of you getting a "yes."
That's selfish ._.
Hopefully you still proposed and just tell your to shut up if she interrupts again
Your fault, engagement should b just you and her, your family doesnt have to b there, especially if ur mom disapproves
Your mom was trying to prevent you from making the biggest mistake of your life.

what a bitch. I'm sorry op. wish the best for you and your girlfriend/fiance!
Wow your mother sounds horrible to do that...just propose behind her back and see how that makes her feel! It's your love life not hers. Good luck with your proposal! :)
