Today, while on vacation, my brother asked a native of the area for help. Once he got it, he thanked them with "muchos gracias" in the best Spanish accent he could do. We're in Japan. FML

What an idiot! Everyone knows where you're in Japan, you say, "Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto." Sheesh!

I play once in a while. I'm sure it'll pick back up when gen 2 is out.

"we're in Japan"... Yet upload is from United States (New York) Oops. Someone forgot you get given an upload location. Fake!

Actually, they coulda posted it after their vacation. Just, the form of FML dictates that it says today

Ain't "Thank you" pronounced "Domo" or something like that?? We need a Japanese Dora

Thank you is arigato, but the r is very light so it sounds kinda like an l.

If you're talking to strangers it's probably a good idea to say "arigato gozaimas" (are-E-got-oh Go-zah-E-mas) I apologise in advance for the atrocities I committed to the language.

You can say domo or arigato. Or even both of them together as domo arigato. Arigato is for bigger favors.
